Welcome to Aquatic Geomicrobiology! Our mission is to explore and understand the world of. Microbial communities in the environment. We assess functional microbial diversity in aquatic and subsurface environments by molecular approaches to identify key players. We complement our environmental studies with laboratory studies of model microbial consortia for deciphering chemical interactions among microbes.
